Jury Transportation Programs: The Metro TAP Card and JuryLink (Metrolink) programs are two transportation programs offered to jurors who serve jury duty in lieu of their mileage fees (beginning on the second day of service). Grand Jury: A jury, normally of twenty-three jurors, selected to examine the validity of an accusation before trial.
The Court has adopted a one-day, one-trial system for jury service in Marin County, as many other trial courts have done. This means that jurors are not on-call for an entire week, which was the system in all California counties just a few years ago.
